Part I &#8211; shows the present-day state of the flora of vascular plants of the eastern part of the Gniezno Lake District. It also estimates the speed, directions and reasons of changes in the flora which have taken place over the last 143 years. It is an attempt of describing the main sources of threats and laying out rational protective postulates. The main factographical materials are archival data and floristic records. Part II &#8211; contains the atlas of distribution of 1186 species.
