Research Areas and Fields
- Application of satellite remote sensing in plant ecology, with particular emphasis on multispectral data from Sentinel-2
- Detection and monitoring of invasive plant species using remote sensing methods
- Development of predictive modeling methods for the distribution range of invasive species using data fusion techniques in remote sensing
- Integration of spatio-temporal analyses to forecast the spread dynamics of invasive species
- Development of decision-support tools for nature conservation and environmental management, with an emphasis on counteracting the negative impacts of biological invasions
- Integration of satellite data of various spatial resolutions (including Sentinel-2, Landsat, WorldView, PlanetScope, UAV) to improve the detection accuracy and modeling of invasive species distributions
